Plaza Azteca Mexican - Virginia Beach

I really enjoy the margaritas here! After a few, depending on how your night is going, you might be ready to hit the town or call it a night!

The service was good, and the staff was nice and friendly. The food and drinks were decent. However, we encountered the biggest spider I've ever seen crawling up and down the wall. Unfortunately, we had already finished eating by that point. This was my first and last visit here.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic! My favorite dish is the shrimp tacos, while my son enjoys the Birria Tacos so much that he orders them almost every time we come here. It's a wonderful spot for families, with plenty of seating.

I gave this place a single star so I could write this review. First I ordered a Queso Dip to go with chorizo (sometimes simply) and when I received my order, it was different from what I thought. I called to give them the opportunity to correct my order and if they were not asked to get a refund. When my wife came there, she was told that we could not have a refund and the menu was shown to tell her why it was ordered wrong. After being disregarded by the manager, my wife only wanted a refund for the food that was wrong, but the manager said since she had done it, he wanted us to have it so that she could see the difference of proportions she actually wanted. He finally gave us the food we ordered, so we just left. It was a simple solution, but have lost our business due to the terrible management and customer service. I understand that every restaurant does something different with menu items, but it should have been explained to us what it was since she ordered something else than what was in the menu. The menu item should have been checked.

Again, no disappointment with the food. Taco Tuesday is awesome. Even took home a dish to have tomorrow. And it is fantastic.
