The Hyatt House was great for our recent family vacation. We truly enjoyed the staff as well as the convenient location for distance to the local shops and restaurants. The ease of walking out the back door onto the board walk and then directly onto the sand was such a breeze! View all feedback.
What Kashawni B doesn't like about Ocean 27:
The food was fresh and hot. I got the chicken tenders and fries. It was nicely seasoned. I also got the watermelon jolly rancher drink and it was good. Unfortunately the employees were not sanitary. I observed people picking their nose and not washing their hands. Also touching their garments and hair as well then serving people's food. Otherwise the food was pretty good. View all feedback.

The scenery was beautiful, you can sit yourself and there was a performer singing. The food was delicious, I got the BLT and the flavors were clean and put together. The shark attack was a bit on the sour side but the drink itself was cute. It's a nice place to sit, eat and relax after walking on the boardwalk or from the beach. The servers should be more aware of sanitary issues in regards to touching their garments and not washing their hands after.Dietary restrictions: I have a seafood allergy and I think this place had good options for me, especially being so close to the beach where most restaurants had primarily seafood options

The service was excellent. People really try here. Most my complaints are nitpicks... Like 18% service fee automatically added at the bar/restaurant. Because it got me the first night and I WAY overtipped.. like 40 dollars total. A checkoff breakfast process which makes going separately in the same room tough. and creates a big line. A bathroom light which is 1000 watts, automated and no way to keep off for those going at night. They tax their fees and even parking... ?? Parking was rough here because you are only allowed on the 6, 7 and 8th floors so you have to key in and out 3 times when you get your car. The elevators have some issues where they will skip or get people going both directions, this causes times when you literally can wait 20 minutes for an elevator. I'm not sure how that's possible, but, it happened 3 times to us, and we discussed it with others there...
I was here while on vacation. I ordered a bucket drink, and the bartender put WAY too much banana liquor in it. It was undrinkable, so I told the server I would like to exchange it for another bucket. The policy here is if you don't like it too bad, you pick it you pay for it. I ordered another one anyway, just trying to have a good time with my family. The salad was good.I ordered a tuna poke too. The supposed sushi grade tuna had many bands of fat in it, and parts where the skin was not properly removed.I think the reason this place is in business is because tourists are attracted to the outside scene, and come in not knowing that it's an awful dining experience.
