I'm not really a fan of the interior of this location. It looks like the family lives there. The food was good and very fast and the employee who was at the register was nice. It just looked really cluttered and in need of a decor update. View all feedback.
What Steven S doesn't like about Li's #1 Chinese Food:
**** hole. Horrible customer service and the you g kid at the front desk thought it was funny to give me my meal full of vegetables when I asked for minimal vegetables. He should have advised me to order something else if I wanted a meal that didn't contain lots of veggies. Instead, he gives me a condescending look and doesn't say anything. I get home and have to drive back to the restaurant to get my money back. He had no care in the world, cell phone in hand watching cartoons. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!.
We were in search of a quick takeout option near our home and decided to stop by a place we had seen several times. The menu was typical for a Chinese restaurant—extensive. We ordered shrimp spring rolls, General Tso's chicken, and scallops in oyster sauce. Unfortunately, the first two dishes were subpar, though at least they were edible. The scallops, however, were downright inedible. We took a couple of bites each before setting them aside. It seemed like there was at most one or two scallops, thinly sliced and buried in a mound of vegetables and a poorly made sauce. The General Tso's chicken, one of their specialties, consisted of chicken pieces enveloped in a thick, gooey batter—it was on the edge of being acceptable, but our hunger may have influenced our perception. Overall, I would recommend skipping this restaurant.
The food was excellent! I've had some disappointing experiences with Chinese restaurants in Hilltop, but this one will definitely be my favorite from now on!
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The customer service was appalling, and the young man at the front desk found it amusing to serve me a meal overflowing with vegetables despite my request for minimal veggies. Instead of suggesting an alternative dish better suited to my preferences, he just gave me a condescending look and stayed silent. After getting home, I realized I needed to return to the restaurant to get a refund. It was clear he didn’t care at all, as he was more interested in watching cartoons on his cell phone. I strongly recommend avoiding this place!
Too much breading and very little chicken on sweet:sour chicken. Husband enjoyed bourbon chicken. doughnuts are really canned flaky biscuits deep fried with cinnamon/sugar but good! Does well with no contact pickup
Been coming here for over 15 years and very happy to see how they're protecting their family while also still serving their community. Always great food and love that they serve a General Tso's tofu that's just delightful. Thank you for the years of service and thank you for your COVID-19 precautions.
