Went to dine in with my girlfriend we had a great lunch experience!

Best pizza in Virginia Beach and owners are super friendly

I had the New Yorker pizza. Crust was thin, and tasted great. I'm usually not a fan of pepperoni and italian sausage but the combination on this pizza with the ricotta and mozzarella was on point. I would go back to try other items. Friendly folks.

I would give La Vera, VB Police and door dash 6 stars for this epic delivery. I ordered on line at 730pm on Memorial Day and all went as you would expect until I received a phone call from the door dash driver. He proceeded to let me know that he had been pulled over by the police for a tag issue but was still planning to deliver the pizza. I called La Vera and let them know of the delay and the owner promptly said he would make another order and deliver it himself. Shortly after I hung up the doordash driver called back and handed the phone to the police office, the officer asked for my address and said he would bring me the pizza, I was amazed at the drivers tenacity to deliver the pizza and the officer for really going above and beyond in serving the community. The officer arrived with the pizza followed shortly thereafter by La Vera Pizzeria owner delivering my reorder. 5 stars for all!

The outside and interior may not look like the food would be so good but it’s definitely worth your money, the pizza is some of the best i’ve ever had.
