Jumpin' Shrimp - Virginia Beach

Yummy breakfast. Best **** Mary at the beach! Great staff. Highly recommend!

I wanted to not like this place because I didn’t receive everything I ordered, but when I discussed with Tamia (the manager) she displayed a phenomenal job handling my concerns and managing this joint. She ensures her customers are satisfied and ensures her staff are made aware of any discrepancias. I ordered the ultimate seafood dish, the she crab soup and the pirates punch pictured below. She crab soup could have used more substance, but the flavor was good. Ultimate Seafood dish was very tasty and sautéed in some really good sauce. Now the pirates punch was a hit!! This drink is definitely a must try.

Jumpin Shrimp was a nice excursion on the beach. The staff was good and so was the food! A real nice atmosphere with a view is the ocean. My shrimp was quite yummy and the rest was all good. Ribeye wasn't quite worth it but what do you expect at a seafood place. Good place!

Nice place off the beach walk. Could have a bit of a party vibe if you looked at the menu but if you stick to the mains it’s a solid place to eat. Sandwiches and samplers are great seafood picks. The outside patio is dog friendly. I’d say this is a perfect place for lunch and a nice option for dinner. Clean inside and outside and kind service.

Had breakfast here this morning, service was a little slow but like many places they are more than likely understaffed. We sat outside along the board walk and it was a beautiful day (nice little view). The wait staff was friendly. The food came in reasonable timeframe. My family really liked the breakfast and the portions were above average. The waitress that was helping us recommended the shrimp and grits cake meal. It was really great and I’m glad I listened to her recommendation! We would definitely come back.
