Tonight for Happy Hour Dinner. The place was busy and Chelsea (our server) was coughing, but made a great task to manage the amount. Food: a Cubano and nachos were naturally delicious as always. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Havana Great Neck:
Just visited with some friends and they were so offended by the political tv playing on every screen. It’s sad because the food, drinks, bartender, and staff are so amazing yet this really turned them off. Blahhhh! I hate when local businesses don’t take into consideration their audiences. Keep it light, enjoyable, and keep it neutral or losses will be had. Unless you are an owner that’s ok with it. View all feedback.
We got there right when they opened at 5:00. My husband and I shared the ropa vieja dish, which is a savory shredded beef stew-like dish. It was yummy. They say they're not a traditional Cuban restaurant. I wish they'd had croquetas on their menu. That would have satisfied a craving. I'd go back whenever I'm in town.
Definitely worth the drive from Suffolk. I haven't been here in years. Even better than remembered
This is the first time I've ever been to a restaurant waiting to be seated after going to look for a table coming back and then telling me they're too busy to serve us. The restaurant was only half full when they turned us away because they were too busy. They were happy to send us to their sister restaurant right next door. By that time they had lost my business.
Last night at 6:30 my whole family had a great experience at Havanas. We celebrated my sisters birthday.Cole was our server and he was excellent. He was very polite and on point.Thank you
I was at the restaurant late. But the bar was polite and told me the kitchen close ar 10pm. And I left...
