Golden City Iii - Virginia Beach

The food here is excellent! The boneless spare ribs are incredible, and the shrimp fried rice with chicken is also a standout dish. The sauces provided are delicious as well. The prices are quite reasonable! However, the staff seems a bit rushed and somewhat detached, even though the restaurant wasn't busy during my visit. Despite that, I definitely plan to return. EDIT: I’ve updated my rating to 5 stars because the food is just too good and addictive!

As someone from Baltimore, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! The orange chicken was incredible, and the dumplings were really good as well.

You absolutely have to visit this restaurant! The food is fantastic, and the customer service is outstanding—everyone is incredibly friendly. If you're ever in Virginia Beach, make sure to stop by and enjoy their delicious and reasonably priced dishes. This is, without a doubt, the best Chinese restaurant in Virginia Beach!

I’m giving this place five stars. Good food can be hard to find in the resort district, and let's be honest, tourists aren't always the pickiest eaters. However, I'm not a tourist. Located between Atlantic and Pacific, this place offers the best takeout and dining by the sea. While Jade Garden is good, I found the food quality at Golden City to be superior during my last visit. The meals are fresh, delicious, and budget-friendly. What more could you ask for? While it might not be the ideal spot for a romantic evening, the food quality at Golden City is outstanding. If you're looking for a meal, go somewhere else. But for affordable, high-quality food, Golden City is the place to be.
