Le Restaurant - Vire Normandie

Excellent food and good value for money. although not 'skin kitchen' it has a good menu choice plus a plate du jour. friendly and efficient staff. decor is simple, very clean and atmosphere is always blossoming it's a place where the real French. go with their families and friends. cannot understand why it has such a low rating. we have often eaten there and never had a bad meal or service.

The location of this restaurant is outside the capital and is part of the zone industry near a now huge intermarche. this place was packed on a Sunday when we visited friends. a very good reception, a very cheap menu, good service-a...salad buffet: they think of harvesting machines in england and a very good main meal. ideal for holidaymakers with families.

We have eaten here often and never had a bad meal. it really serves the workers-lunch trade, although is used by locals. there are many plat du jour options as well as a la carte. the buffet starter is of high quality. a lot of food. there are several options for net on any plate du jour option. drinks are extra. I am surprised that this is classified so low on ta, as some of the more rated esswaren were disappointing and I would not return to them. I will return to this restaurant and have recommended many friends who have also agreed, it is great food and good value for money. service is fast and good rehearsal as they have so many covers.

This place is a popular haunt of mine whenever I am in Vire. The patron and his wife are always welcoming and the food is always well cooked. If unsure of what you want the staff are always helpful and service is quick. Will be...there again next week, my usual steak I think.

Invité pour un repas d'anniversaire j'ai été agréablement surpris par la qualité du repas servi....un filet de bar cuit à la quasi perfection, un serveur souriant dynamique. ....pas de la grande cuisine mais de la bonne cuisine. .
