Simple. You get what they have !! Fresh cooked good and full of flavour. Efficient cheerful service from the chef/owner.

The interior decoration was a little quirky so we asked a few questions, and she told us about the ethos of the restaurant.. all organic and mainly local and mediteranean inspiration. There is a piano and a harp and I understand that there are musical evenings as well. The manager seemed so passionate about her restaurant that we definitely plan to return for a meal the next time we are around Grabels.
We visited this restaurant at the evening time, party of three. There was a live music show at the balcony when we arrived, we did not know there will be a show and it was a great surprise for us. We found seats at the...nice terrace and enjoyed the live band and the local beer and wine. There were not too many options of beer but it did not matter bc the vibe was the best. After an hour we ordered food. Apparently, the place is running by this one lady name Aisha and she does everything: cook, take orders, bartending, serve and clean. So, also the menu was very minimal dishes. But then again, I liked this concept... We ordered one of each dish, we were waiting more than the usual time people are waiting for food bc of the concert, however it was definitely worth it. The food was delicious and most importantly was served with a great smile. Thank you Aisha for a beautiful night and a warm hosting.
We had a wonderful time at Carnet de Voyage. Food and wine was great. And the place is very different from all the restaurant we ever went to. it feels like home away from home. Aïcha is a delightful host. Very smiling, funy, kind and...welcoming. If you go by Viols-le-Fort, you HAVE TO stop there and you will not be disapointed. Encore merci for this afternoon. From London.
