Came in for lunch at 11:30 on a Friday and got the brisket sandwich with cheesy hash. Prices and portions are fair, service was quick and friendly, and food was incredibly delicious. Viola and Mercer County is really lucky to have this. If you're wanting something local, different, and delicious... give the Bone Collector a try. What David Maxwell doesn't like about Bone Collector Bbq:
Talk about disappointing, and kinda arrogant about their hours of operation. Opens at 11:30am and closed before 3pm...I won't even bother to try to eat there again. Their food ain't THAT good. View all feedback.
I had the brisket plater it was large portions. Which I was thankful for but I had to get to go container, and I will enjoy rest later tomorrow either for lunch or dinner. And their pickle chips hit the spot. And coleslaw was delicious . Parking: The parking is shared with apartment but if you really want good BBQ it's with the inconvenience. I actually choose a good time to come and was able to park and leave fairly easily. It's kinda hard to get out of parking lot depending on flow of traffic on highway 67 and the 4 way stop. But like all good things it's worth it.
From the moment you enter the front door, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Ken is a wonderful host and a skilled artist behind the grill. If you get the chance, stop in and get some of the most tender and flavorful pulled pork and pulled chicken you'll ever have! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Nice little place with amazing food. Wish it was closer to home. Definitely plan on stopping in whenever I'm in the area. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Finally got a chance to try out our business “neighbors” food. My wife and I were impressed, definitely will be coming back for some good old fashioned American soul food. Motorheads recommends you come try it out!
