One of the best in the area. We live locally and often call in for lunch. a Beautiful outside eating area, good value, excellent food. During the summer, go to the Jazz nights. No premium charged, just pay for the meal and have live entertainment. Fantastic place

We turned up as a large group of 7 adults with 2 babies on two occasions at lunch time on the off-chance of lunch on the terrace. The first occasion was when we were waiting to check into a nearby villa and the second when we made a let minute decision to have lunch out on our penultimate day of our 1 week stay in the area. The staff, although seemingly a little thrown by the fact that we had not booked, made us very welcome. Not one of us was disappointed by our food. Our choices ranged from a selection from the bar menu to choices from the a la carte menu. All were cooked to perfection. I agree with other reviews that some dishes that we sampled rivalled those that we have sampled in Michelin starred establishments. The wine was also good and reasonably priced. The setting is lovely. We will definitely book to stay in the hotel too if we return to the area. The one (minor) negative comment is that there is only one toilet for women and men in the restaurant area. As the guests from a wedding reception were sharing the same facilities, there was an unacceptable queue for the loos.

This is an excellent place for a simple meal. Friendly service, fairly priced dishes and a choice between small/medium/large portions. As a starter we had the mixed salad and the exotic salad and both were excellent. Nice wine list for such a simple family restaurant.

We were visiting with friends who live locally and were greeted warmly and seated on the terrace which has a view of the lake. Our drinks arrived quickly, including some VERY large strong gin and tonics. We all chose salads, which were nicely put together with some interesting ingredients. Service was quick and friendly.

Excellent prawn cocktail and marvellous pizza as well as things like veal steaks, barbecued in the summer, and excellent fish (sole for example)
