Cute and cozy atmosphere, phenomenal service, and the food is amazing. We tried several dishes and everything was wonderful. You don’t see top notch service like this anymore. Highly recommended View all feedback.
What Naturehealer 111 doesn't like about The Artichoke:
We went there for our 25th anniversary. We just moved here and I found this place online. Unfortunately the food wasn't that good. I was very disappointed. We both had fish and it was bland and fishy tasting. The service was wonderful and the owner wasvery pleasant. Our bill was over $75 for 2 which I am fine with as long as the food is good. We will not go back there. View all feedback.
Our family had a lovely dinner here. I didn’t expect much from a restaurant so close to the lake, but this one far exceeded my expectations. We had a grilled and steamed artichoke. The grilled was superior in our opinion, but both were good. Freshingredients, warm food AND the meal was delicious all around. Meals were served with salads and bread and butter. We also haddessert to go. The layered chocolate pie was superb, as was the brown butter pie. It was a fantastic value for our money bothbased on the amount of food received and the caliber of it. On top of that, we were a larger table with six adults, threetoddlers and a baby. Our waiter was incredibly patient and helpful by anticipating our needs throughout the evening. Highlyrecommend!!

We visited this restaurant to celebrate our 25th anniversary after recently relocating to the area, as I found it online. Unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations; it was both bland and had an overpowering fishy taste. This left me quite disappointed. On a positive note, the service was excellent, and the owner was very friendly. Our bill came to over $75 for two, which I wouldn't mind paying if the food had been good. However, based on this experience, we won't be returning.
My wife and I took a friend out for a celebratory birthday dinner, and we all ordered the filet mignon with different sides. We started with a side salad, which was delightful—simple and fresh. The steaks were cooked to perfection, not overly seasoned, and incredibly tender. The sautéed mushrooms were fresh and cooked just right, while the asparagus was also perfectly prepared. To top off the night, we enjoyed a surprise birthday cake with ice cream, which was fantastic. The staff were friendly and attentive, making for a truly wonderful evening.
This was our first visit, and we will definitely be back! We started with the stuffed mushrooms and grilled artichoke appetizers. For our main courses, we enjoyed the Caesar salad and steak soup, along with shrimp scampi and filet mignon. We even took home some key lime pie! Everything was wonderful, and our charming waiter Dakota made the experience even better. Thank you, Diana and Jim, for a delightful evening!
