Old Chicago Pizza And Taproom

We came to this restaurant because from the pictures it made us want to try this place. We were seated right away, as it was not busy. We were told a server would be with us momentarily. We sat there for 10-15 mins waiting. Servers were walking past us never stopped. Three other people came in after us, after we had been sitting for 10 mins, and as soon as they were there, no more than a minute or two, a server was right at their table. The firs server that had been walking past us went to the table behind us to clean it and we told her as well as the hostess why we were leaving. No response. This happened tonight 7/23/23. We went on to Procopios and was served immediately.

Nice place, would have loved to try the food, but after sitting for 10 minutes with 2 different servers walking past numerous times, we were not even greeted. When people came in after us and got service a few tables away we left. Sunday 7-23 evening and it was not very busy.Food: 1/5

Came in and was seated. Waited at least 15 mins before we were even recognized at our table. They couldn't find the waitress. Finally manager had to get drink and food orders, and waited awhile before food was brought out. Our kids food wasn't warm at all. Kids mac cheese was cold and had no flavor at all, along with his fries. Our large Chicago pizza was little warmer but wasn't hot like would except fresh pizza to be. Then waitress wad gone again. Asked for boxes and check, was almost 10 mins before brought boxes and then another 10 before check. Place wasn't busy at all. Was 1st time at this location and after this experience, will probably be our last.

We arrived at 3:55 in the afternoon on Father's Day. It is currently 4:13 and nobody has been to the table to ask for a drink order or even a greeting. Been here plenty of times before and food and service is normally better than average. 19 minutes after we arrived and they finally came by to ask for a drink order.

Probably the best restaurant in vincennes. The hosts are kind and friendly and the servers are quick and always there when you need them. Very clean! Very fun! All of the food is good here but id especially recommend the twisted tenders or the Sicilian RollsFood: 5/5
