The atmosphere is unique with an order and it's brought to you setup. The service can be slow, but the staff is friendly and apologetic for any delays. Despite some mixed reviews, the coffee and homemade goods are highlights. Customers can also order food at the counter to avoid waiting. In particular, the veggie skillet and white mocha coffee are highly recommended. While there are some service-related issues at times, overall it's a gem worth visiting for a cozy and welcoming dining experience.
Really quaint family restaurant with the vibe of a fisherman's retreat or rest stop. Great food and vibes. Nice loveable staff and a definite must do when you're in town!
Cute little ice cream/coffee/sandwich shop. Stop in for some scones or a delicious panini! One of my favorite lunch places. Staff is amazing too!
I've seen the reviews about service, but we went three times in one week and never had an issue. Finding enough staff to keep up with the short-but-intense summer tourist season demand in MI is *tough* so there likely are issues at times, as there are atalmost every single restaurant in the tourist-popular areas. My tip: you can order your food at the counter at this restaurant(where you order the pastries and coffee if getting it to go) and then sit outside, no need to wait on a server to take yourorder, etc, which is what we did. We in particular loved the veggie skillet, it was so nice to be able to start the day with afull plate of deliciously grilled up veggies topped with eggs, we went twice for this specific dish in the week we were in thearea, it was so good. This cafe is a gem!
The food was good, mixed reviews on the coffee from our group. Lots of homemade goods. Service was very nice, but will say very slow. They apologized multiple times for the wait, but we did wait about an hour for the food. Only reason for 4 stars insteadof 5
BEST COFFEE! BEST FOOD! Breakfast and Lunch! I literally come here 3-5 times a week and never disappointed! The staff is always so kind and friendly! Maggie makes the best White Mocha and is always working so hard and fast! I would give this place 10 starsif I could! I like their ice cream more than Moomers!
