this was the best food I had in Cuba, although the vegan burger and the ropa vieja were not available. I asked and they served the sauteed vegetables with the cheese (so, I think that was better than the cold salad with cheese.) also the restaurant is really nice, good drinks and live music. The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere in the courtyard, with a fantastic band playing that really added to the experience. However, the food was disappointing. Only back from viñales. we went to jardin del arte sano to listen to live music and have a cocktail, but ended up with a vegan burger and some comminuted vegetables. everything was delicious. as amandai remarks, the vegan menu is limited, but our dishes where great. his only bar that has live bands with a great atmosphere every night.
The veg and vegan options were very limited. I ordered vegetables with vegan cheese expect it to be cooked hot, but it was effective a plate of cold veg salate. looks good enough on the picture, but it was bland and the cheese was unpleasant. disappointment because the other review on this place was good and since it only 4 places in vinales on happy cow checked my expectations for this were high. it was also expensive. vinales actually has so many places that offer veg and vegan foods that are much better than these. Two favorites that I recommend, but are not recognized on happy cow, are tareco’s, on the main road with a sun roof has a nice choice of veg and vegan eating, delicious, beautiful coworkers, can see the sunset, our favorites in the city. other favorit is on the bus route in direction hotel los jasmines, it is a tabakfarm called finca roja, and we were an absolute firm for two people for only 6cuc (approx. 5 £). I would give both tarecos and finca roja 4/5 stars.
Beautiful backyard surrounded by plants. there is a vegan menu area, including dishes with vegan cheese (made from pumpkin) like bruschetta, sweet, sandwiches etc. the personal is really nice and there are free wlan.
This venue is stunning with a relaxed atmosphere. We stopped by multiple times during our vacation and always enjoyed the live band playing. Even watching them rehearse in the afternoon was entertaining. I tried the vegan burger, which was surprisingly delicious and a rare find in Cuba. The staff were friendly and it quickly became our favorite spot in Viñales. I highly recommend it!
