Out of desperation we left the city and by chance we ended up in this little gem of a restaurant. We had a selection of meat and cheese for entree. It was a nice symphony of different tastes, but all worked together for a perfect combination. Then we had some Gnocchi, also very good. We followed it up with a meat dish each. I really enjoyed this one and I'm wondering how they made all of it work together so well! Definitely worth a try for a nice gastronomic evening

Try the real Gnocco Fritto with Culatello for start and one of the Gnocchi as pasta. Very good wine selection and advice from Francesco, the friendly owner who runs this place with his wife, she is taking care of the kitchen ... alone. This family run resturant is a great destination place in Oreno, a very nice little village close to the industrial area of Milan, an island of green (there is a nice park and Borromeo villa) where you can relax after a long day of work.

We started off with antipasto a mix of 5 varieties of fresh cheese and the incredible gnocco fritto followed by primo piatto gnocchi di oreno. Secondo was so good filetto di manzo. red wine here is great! highly recommend to try this place if around in vimercate. They open after 7.45pm on all days and for lunch on sundays as well. recommend to call and reserve as it is a small place. they are closed on mondays! Owner francesco runs the show and is very friendly and suggests you the best from the fixed menu they have.

The setting was very nice and the staff was excellent. I was able to navigate a gluten free set of options with the waiter and chef with no problems. We had 9 persons with a full meal including drinks and desserts for about Eu280. You will enjoy this place.
