The cakes, presented as apotheosis of culinary finesse, have turned out to be monuments to excess sugar, challenging the palate with an unacceptable disproportion. The promise of a refined gastronomic experience was betrayed by a banality of flavors and a density without virtue. The presentation, praised almost as much as the taste itself, has turned out to be a deception of surface, concealing neglect and lack of aesthetic commitment. Instead of contemplating works of culinary art, what I had in front were unconventional and inconsistent products, far light years from advertising excellence. The abyss between self-attributed reputation and the raw reality of this pastry shop is so vast that deep questions about its validity are raised. It is imperative a radical rethinking and an unequivocal commitment to perfection, otherwise its current fame is likely to crumble under the weight of its own culinary lies.
