We had lunch today at Bahay Kubo sa Brussels, it was more than one hour drive but it does'nt matter it worth the visit, the food was delicious. We ordered several kinds of dishes and I love the pancit palabok, infact I ordered extra portion to take home with me. Compliment to the chef, he cooked authentic Filipino food. The owner is friendly. For sure, we will come back again. View all feedback.
What Patrice Savard doesn't like about Bahay Kubo:
Rather disappointing experience for us, expecting to be indulged in the fine Filipino cuisine. The food was plain, simple, without any of the spices we'd expect to see in such dishes as Pakbet. The salmon with veggies also didn't blow our minds, which is an understatement to say the least. Super food , friendly people , clean corona proof restaurant we come back!
We've been there a couple of times and each time we were blown away by the explosion of flavors in the food. I highly recommend their grilled half chicken and adobo. Looking forward to going back and discovering more Filipino food. All the dishes are made to order so the service does get a bit slow.

Although we enjoyed a friendly atmosphere, I would simply not recommend Bahay Kubo because of its kitchen.
It used to be good before but since they raised the price the serving is just not worth the amount charged. Filipino cuisine has so many great dishes. They could improve the quality of the food, increase the availability of authentic dishes and reduce the price to be able to compete with other Asian restaurants in Brussels. It's a pity because this is the only remaining Filipino restaurant in Brussels so please take action.
I went all the way to the restaurant to try filipino food for lunch when google and their facebook page say theyre open between 11-2pm (i came on sunday 12pm) but it was completely closed. I tried to call but nobod picked up the call. It was very disappointing.
