The most important thing, which is the food, was fantastic. I got the Azerbaijan eggs “kuku”, which was delicious, and the house made pita was perfection. The reason they lose a star was because it was not friendly service at all. I sat there for a few minutes until someone finally looked at me and said that I needed to order at the counter. And then when I was done and paying my bill, there was just zero friendliness. They were installing a new coffee machine, so I think they were distracted with that. Either way, the food was great; the service and vibe? Not so much.
The place is quite hip and they prepare food in an oven fueled with wood. The menu is quite interesting for snacks or larger meal. The prices are decent. The waiting time is high, limited capacity and no parallelization, so if people are in front, you will wait 25 minutes for us for 3 pitas. The pitas were delicious, however! I did not take pictures so Google fails to validate review as per new algorithms, this is stupid.
Tight space, but nice atmosphere. Pizzas and pitas are pretty good. There are vegan options: Pita with hummus and zucchini, and Pizza Marinara
This quaint little bakery cafe offers delicious pita sandwiches (including options for vegetarians), breakfast choices (be sure to try the Azerbaijani Kükü and Shakshouka), pizzas, coffee, and an Azerbaijani tea set. I highly recommend it. The food is fresh and delicious, and the staff is attentive and friendly. I can't wait to visit again!
