I... read more Extremely happy we stopped by this restaurant! We both got a chickpea caramel cake -it is sooo amazing. It has a strong peanut butter taste. We both loved it. I also got a hazelnut blueberry cake and it didn’t come close to how amazing the chickpea caramel cake was. The tanginess of the blueberry is a nice contrast to the rest of the cake. I also got a a hot mint cocoa with oat milk. Nice froth and perfect temperature. I usually like drinks super hot, but this one was tasted phenomenal at the warmer temperature it was served at. Still tasted amazing as it cooled. I sadly forget to take a picture of it, but highly recommend. My friend got a sandwich. She really enjoyed it and said there was a nice kick to it from the jalapeño. Unfortunately I forgot the name of the sandwich. They are a busy place. We waited in line a while to order and I completely see why. They also have vegan, raw, gluten free packages snacks and bars. We both got a few snacks and I’ll report back if they are not good at all or outstanding.

The vibe is relaxed and cozy and the staff are very frien... read more Chaica is a very small restaurant, so it feels a bit crammed, and the chairs are not that comfortable. The vibe is relaxed and cozy and the staff are very friendly. There is a choice of several sandwiches, and not all of them were available. We both had the burger sandwich which was very good and filling. There were also several cakes which were all vegan (I think they always are). We took two pieces of Snickers tart to our hotel. It was delicious and definitely one of the best Snickers tarts we have had. We recommend Chaica for a quick bite or for the cake! Visited in March 2023
