So sorry for my english... Authentic interior, real, a perfume of other times with this atmosphere that transports you elsewhere as expected when you go to the family restaurant, but so rare in these new places sanitized, fake. Of course the atmosphere is not enough because we also have to party to our taste buds, and here this is simply great from entry until desserts! thank you Aubergade. View all feedback.
My wife and I were staying the weekend with local friends in nearby Neauphle le Chateau. As a Thank you we invited them out for dinner; this was their chosen restaurant. It was first class. The menu (3 courses €41) is short, approx. four choices for each course, but everything was delicious, e.g. smoked salmon, Coquilles, duck, etc.and the service was friendly and efficient undoubtedly helped by the fact that our guests are regular visitors. Perhaps surprisingly, there were many empty tables while we were there (approx 730 930pm). Our total bill was exactly €250 of which €86 was for drinks 3 G&Ts, 1.5 bottles of red wine, 2 glasses of white wine. Highly recommended.

I went with 5 relatives and two foreigh friends for lunch on October 11th. Our table was located in the glass extension from where we had a nice view of the garden. The menu looked appealing but the cook disappointed us. The carré d'agneau was made of three small lamb chops, the perdreaux were not boned and so a trifle difficult to eat and were served with....french fries. Desserts were ok. There was aretty long wait (about 40 mn between appetizers and main course) and a few tables with fewer guests who had arrived after us eere served before us. The management apologized arguing that one waiter was sick and a cook was missing. One thing I need to mention here is the condition of the washrooms: dirty and smelly, not at all what one would expect in a place like this. It is a shame. Unfortunately, toilets in France, despite some laudable progress, still leave very much to be desired.
