Camping Capfun Château D'arvid

Booked Mirabella last summer, when visitors announced via Facebook that the swimming pool was heavily polluted and had to be closed immediately. We were not informed ourselves even though we were going there 2 days later. Had to make contact myself (difficultly) and changed the booking to another Capfun campsite. The difference would be refunded to us, and so far we have not received anything back! I have been contacted several times about this but no one takes responsibility!! Service: 1

Campsite which does not deserve 4 stars: dirty, swimming pool invaded by people from outside who do not pay and therefore impossible to access the swimming pool which is overloaded by people who do not respect the regulations: swim in their underwear, or in Bermuda shorts, eat in the water.... we waited 3 days to have the necessary dishes. Gas outage reported at 9 a.m. and cylinder received at 5 p.m. after complaint. Unsanitary toilets at the swimming pool, broken wooden stairs, dangerous and unrepaired. Reception limited to mini catering. In years that I have been going with CAPFUN, this is the first time that I have given negative reviews. Rooms: 3 Service: 1 Location: 3

For a fun cape we were a little disappointed all the same. The campsite is certainly very well suited for children with play structures, swimming pools, activities, evening shows... but the layout of the mobile homes does not convey a good image. It's a shame ! There are a lot of views and some mobile homes have their terrace which overlooks the paths! The campsite is not pretty, apart from the areas for children. On the other hand: the interior of our mobile home was very clean and pleasant (Raoul tip top service. The covered terrace is very nice). The team as a whole was very friendly and responsive. The swimming pools are generally nice too but the slides are actually a little old. The back comes out with a few scratches. For the telephone network we did not have too many problems (with Bouygues operator), network everywhere except in the room of the mobile home.
