We invited my mum and sister to the Chateau de Champlong restaurant on the outskirt of Roanne on a Friday night and we had a great time. What Christian H doesn't like about Château de Champlong:
We were obviously not french, but could communicate in french, however it was not enough not to ignore us for most of the evening...after more than an hour of waiting we decided to skip the dinner because we were so pissed off! We finally got a bottle of wine and water and spent the evening in our room (which was nice, but sad enough anyway! it is so sad because we were so positive about everything we even ignored th... I don't understand that such an establishment has no stars. There are 4-star hotels in Paris where service, hospitality and rooms are clearly less well! Excellent establishment with a wonderful and warm welcome, excellent gastronomy and attentions worthy of the greatest!

The reception is of quality the room was very clean and worthy of this kind of establishment the setting is full of charm Only one reproach was the smell of persistent kitchen in the hallway overlooking the room
