Auberge de Villeny

We didn't expect us to find such a quality restaurant when we were in villeny. we really enjoyed the menu, wein terroir options were really nice. from salad very fresh as they care, through a wonderful cheese and a delicious viande. to finish a desert that was an art work. I strongly recommend for every holiday close. it's a gourmande expérience, worth the price.

Recommended by our French hostess, we decided to give this Michelin star restaurant a try. I'm so glad we made it! we chose the menu du terroir at 24,50 euro. the service was pleasant, without being obtrusiw and efficient without rushing. the croustillade d’escargots arrived on a emerald green dish and was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. like the one who used my mannes. I chose the Guinea-Fowl in mushrooms, accompanied by a generous serving of fresh vegetables. we went a bit with the filet mignon mariné au gingembre. we both thought it was bark! still improves our flak! in any case both were juicy and generous portions. the dessert was a joy. a strawberry quinx ensemble with petitish macaroons. it was wonderful. will I have gone back? you betcha!

We have chosen le menu du terroir and were very satisfied with the quality of each plate. twenty three euro for four courses meal is remarkably reasonable - especially if each court is so carefully prepared. every dish is also beautifully presented. there were five of...and we all enjoyed our court equally. my main course was a deboned (if that is understood) trout with a delicious filling and a lot of sweet. my man chose the filet and said the sauce was amazing. the cheese plate was chosen well. after all, we were not very hungry for dessert until they came and then we forgot how full we were. the millet-feuilles with the star anise sauce and fresh skyberries were amazing. I should have ordered a second. the service of the owner is very good; it is very friendly and very funny. each table has fresh flowers from the mother of the owner. what a beautiful note. a slight complain that has nothing to do with eating or service: the window looks at a very unattractive patch of rugged grasses and weeds and rebuilts. a few shrubs to hide the buildings and flowers would make it much more pleasant.

Still our french is improving! In any case both were juicy and generous servings. The dessert was a delight. A strawberry choux ensemble with petits macaroons. It was wonderful. Would I go back? You betcha!

After all this, we weren't very hungry for the dessert until they came and then we forgot how full we were. The mille-feuilles with the star anise sauce and fresh raspberries was amazing. I should have ordered a second one.The service by the owner is very good; she is very friendly and very funny.Each table has fresh flowers from the owner's mother.
