Friendly staff that speak basic English. Clean and comfortable. Good choice of food available in the restaurant. Nice buffet selection for breakfast. Nice coffee. Champagne by the half bottle. Traveling with a small well behaved dog which was allowed in the restaurant made the visit even more enjoyable. Kettle and tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. Good heating and a/c in the room. Close to the motorway for easy a... View all feedback.
What Yorkshirebhoy doesn't like about Campanile Villeneuve-lès-béziers:
Its basic, but we only wanted a stopover. The restaurant was only serving a cold buffet so we ordered a takeaway. The rooms ahve been refurbished but sadly not to a high standard. View all feedback.
Very interesting dishes, fast service and very friendly server
Bravo to the waiter, stay a pro despite a full restaurant!

Wasn't easy to find as was on a industrial type complex. Reception is at the till in the, what I call a cafe! When we arrived, about 19:00 local time, there was a conference being held there so we had to fight out way through the hoards of smokers standing by the entrance. Our room was at the top (3rd floor) and as there is no lift you can only take a limited about of luggage into the room, we were a bit worried about our golf gear being left in the car park overnight. Food is adequate, after breakfast we again had to fight our way through the cleaning staff who were having a cigerette break at the foot of the stairs who were reluctant to move or even reply to Bonjour! An experience we wouldn't want to have again.
Besides the first class Staff, the location is conveniently near to A9. All the rest was rather poor. The sink faucet was loose, so both hands were needed to have it working... within the frame. The TV turned on on its own at full volume at 04.00 AM and the remote did not work to turn it off. Guests program it as alarm, but the hotel does not consider to de-program it or, at least, have the remote in minimum working condition. WI-FI signal in the room was too weak. Sound isolation is non-existent. Breakfast consisted almost exclusively on sugar-boosted industrial products. Hotel or chain-hotel management still ignores that some tens of millions of Europeans are diabetic. I'm diabetic and it was the first time since several years that I could not have breakfast; staff kindly offered to boil some egg, which was nice, but I thought that 10€ was maybe too expensive a price. The hotel went for 80€/night (plus breakfast&taxes).
