amazingly good food, made even more remarkable by the size of the tiny kitchen...not much bigger than the average burger van you see parked up outside a football ground. Friendly and accomodating. Literally. I arrived late into lunch when it was full but seeing I was on my own, they managed to find a table and a space to put it up. Marvellous. View all feedback.

Restaurant was in a lovely spot overlooking the harbour. We arrived mid morning and it wasn’t especially busy. We sat down, and acknowledged the waiter however they didn’t come to our table and serve us... They served a couple on the next table and another couple arrived after us and were served almost straight away. After this we decided to leave which was a shame. Simple and effective. Super food, fresh, we have taken 2 inguin salads, hot goat, an excellent choice! service is very pleasant, efficiencies and fast. the place is essential, in the port of the dock, 2 min from the beach. I recommend the whale happy to everyone now! Thank you!
Good meal, the view of the port was nice especially in the evening. The servers were very nice. Thanks for that meal I think we'll be back with family. Good continuation.
After a late evening bath at the beach of townfranche, it is very pleasant to restore to the happy whale. in simplicity, the kitchen is of quality. The affluence is such, that it is necessary to wait for a table to be released to have one. Indeed, they do not take a reservation.55€ for 3 aperitives, 3 meats and 2 enjoyoles. reasonable! Even if the server is overflowed, it remains pleasant! attention! He doesn't take the blue card!
Beautifully located on one of the docks of the port of the dock in Villefranche-sur-Mer, this small outdoor restaurant has nothing of a gargote, don't be mistaken! its reduced card is gage of freshness, and simplicity rhyme here with regularity. reception and service are discreet and pleasant. and as the notice is rightly stated above, it is reluctant to recommend this establishment for fear that it will lose its serenity framework. you have to have made the nice road on foot by the coastline (for 2 hours, but it's beautiful), then bathed on the small protected beach that offers a unique view of the cityfranche rade, before finally to be fixed next to the boats to the anchor to realize the unique chance of being in such a site. The tuna tartar with citrus fruit will be tasted and reconciled, if necessary, with the farniente away from the tourist hordes. perfect in good company to treat yourself to the fresh. Opened at noon in the spring, it was a stage that never disappointed me after several years of attendance. and it's also a coffee. the price of the dishes oscillates between 10 and 16€. There's wine at the stake.
A break on the small port of townfranche. good simple kitchen. The staff is helpful. Nice.
