The hotel is dated, the rooms are simple but spacious and clean. Family food but quality. Good welcome.
A more than welcome break in our train journey. A pleasant rustic inn, close to the station and in the middle of the mountains with everything you need to provide comfort after a good day of walking. The owner is very welcoming and we were able to have great discussions with him, about the region and our experiences, it was a very nice meeting. He even dropped us off at the village as it was on his way. Thank you Jean Paul! Rooms: Large bedroom with private bathroom: 1 double bed and 2 single beds. Large windows all around. Nearby activities: Loop of Sant Estève de Campilles, Villefranche de Conflent, Fort Liberia, Yellow Train Food drinks: Hearty meal with impeccable service! We came to discover the yellow train and the Villefranche citadel. In the immediate vicinity, we had a very pleasant stay of 2 nights with half board in this establishment, the Mas du Cèdre, a remarkable building remaining “in its original state” from the Belle Epoque. In the middle of a beautiful space bordering the Têt, with its lime trees, walnut trees and large cedar, we were able to enjoy the welcome of the boss and owner, guarantor of a good and friendly atmosphere, eager to satisfy us in everything. . We can get everything from his kindness and he has so much to teach us about his region. The room is spacious and evokes a quality of life from another age but still very present. Copious breakfast, like dinner, generously served byJean Paul himself. It 's neat and well done like at home , and decorated with fresh products in beautiful local colors. The stay was too short. To see Fort Liberia again, the Canalettes caves, etc Thank you Jean Paul. We 'll come back. Food drinks: Catalan entry. Hearty, varied, careful, with fresh salad Well served and well accompanied dish A beautiful ice cream with a good flavor Good bread (this is important! Very nice 3-day stay for 3 adults in this establishment, half board. Welcome and personalized service by the boss himself, copious and delicious meals, building and rooms from another age, but precisely so charming, green surroundings (ideal location), all leaving the best travel memories. Recommended for those who like the unique, the simplicity and the enthusiasm of the boss, relaxed holiday atmosphere guaranteed. Rooms: Spacious room, very decent standard comfort, retro charm. Nearby activities: SNCF station just a stone's throw away (Yellow Train to Perpignan), fortified city a few minutes' walk away, access to the nearby fort, Canalettes caves nearby, etc. Food drinks: Chef's cuisine, fast service, hearty and delicious meals, drinks included in the Half Board Noteworthy details: Magnificent location, easy parking on site, splendid view.
