Bistro l'Alsacien - Ville Lambert

We had dinner at this restaurant for the first time for a birthday. We wanted to have Alsacian/french food. One of the owners was present and he was very nice and had time to make nice conversation since there weren't many people that night, which was all to our benefit :-)The caesar salad was quite good and crunchy. Looks like the choucroute was very good too as mentioned by the person who ordered this dish. The "Flammekûeche", sort of a very thin crust pizza without the cheese was quite good for the first few bites but it's too oily and you quickly get gorged.The Kougelopf, sort of a very light muffin is ok, but as a dessert? Not sure...Not quite disappointed but not really enthusiastic either

Très bon et service sympathique. Dans le quartier pittoresque du Vieux La Prairie. Ai bien aimé avoir un kuglof avec le café.

Voilà un restaurant qui m'a surpris à plusieurs niveaux... Le décor est chaleureux et le service incroyable ... Nous avons attendu un peu pour nos plats mais le restaurant était plein et la fraîcheur des plats valait l'attente. Mon bémol va plus pour la nourriture! Sans trop me plaindre, j'ai quand même été déçu car nos plats avait l'air appétissant ! La choucroute était légèrement fade et la flamms manquait d'assaisonnement ! Les plats était bon mais sans plus... Je devais sûrement avoir des attentes trop élevés étant donné les très bonnes critiques que j'avais lu à leur sujet! Pour le dessert, le fondant était trop cuit mais le goût était excellent !En bref, on y retournera car ca ne semblait pas notre soirée et je suis certains qu'ils peuvent faire mieux!

Un brin d'Alsace chez nous avec des variantes bien apprêtées. La terrasse est bien appréciée en ces jours de soleil et le déjeuner brunch copieux.
