I rarely send a meal back, but tonight I had to return my dish (vongole and bottarga) because it was lukewarm and the clams were cold. They replaced it, but the second version was also cold pasta, 3 clam shells didn’t open, 2 shells were empty and 2 were still cold. The manager argued about removing the dish from the bill and then reluctantly took it off. Only he didn’t. He took off the wrong dish which was cheaper and do we still paid for an inedible meal.

Meals came 20 minutes apart and one of the waiters practically threw a spoon at my wife. The pizza was good although the pasta incredibly salty. Not somewhere I’d recommend going. This all rounded off a very disappointing experience, characterised by rude and lack lustre service.

It's always busy but since they open up the courtyard on weekends, we were able to be seated twice without a reservation. Service was a little slower when we visited on a Monday, but very understandable considering how busy it was! Definitely visit if you're in Villasimius.

They also do gluten free pizza cooked seprately without risk of cross-contamination. Honestly, if you didn't know it was gluten free dough, I don't think you would tell the difference. The best gluten free pizza we've ever had. Staff are all really wonderful and accommodating too. Beautiful atmosphere. Make sure you book if you want to ensure a seat on the outside tables.
