We have not been here for some years and visited expecting changes, but it is still the same owner, it still looks the same and the food is still excellent. Like all restaurants in the area it serves local artisan foods with very limited menu. Only opens a couple of days per week (weekends) and is fully booked then. No English menus or English speaking staff so difficult to choose meals View all feedback.
This restaurant has a really nice location but the food is not that great. The food is cheap, but the wine is very watery and it takes about 15 minutes to get a cup of coffee. We started with the cheese platter and had the feeling a lot of it came out of a tin or can. The risotto was dry (to my shock)and my boyfriend's pasta was flowery, so all in all not that great a restaurant.
Unmissable experience. perfectly educated staff, excellently spacious place, a garden equipped with all amenities and decorated with fantastic flowers that vary. clean and fragrant rooms, comfortable beds and mattresses, an incredible façade just crossed the balcony threshold and finally the best thing, eat thoroughly delicious and served in numerous portions, fantastic!
This restaurant was a great discovery above expectations. Delicious local products are served in a traditional environment and the staff is friendly. I had the well-known prosciuto di Villagrande, and a delicious roasted piglet. Located in a beautiful forest, this spot should not be missed.

We followed with a fabulous Risotto al Funghi and Raviolo in salsa rosa. The Risotto was perfection and a reminder that the woods surrounding the restaurant are a mushroom foragers dream. A large beer,50cl of good red wine, water and coffee came to just 40 euros. Great service and a welcoming host that checks on tables make me look for an excuse to return. Here 's to the next 30 years!
