China Wok Chinese

I went through 6 Chinese takeout places before finding China Wok. Hands down the best Chinese in this part of Syracuse.

Well this is basically to Big Slim she said she was a Young Black lady truck driver.an said she was rudely treated an felt it was a race thing. Absolutely not .My son an I were treated Exactly like that .I wanted to reach across the counter and express my gratitude.but I wouldn't look good in Orange I'm 72 an white as white comes so .she's just RUDE.?

I am a black female truck driver and I work over the road so I eat in a different state each day. Today I was in NY and stopped at this restaurant. I wish I received such friendly service like others in the reviews but I did not. The lady at the front doesnt pack your food up at least she didnt mine. She gave me my bag and walked away. No 'thank you have a nice day ' or anything. I looked in my bag and seen it was nothing in there but the food. I had to then ask her for plastic ware because I eat in my truck not home with silverware like normal people.She had an attitude and just put the utensil container on the counter and walked away again. Me,I have patience, no attitude or anything its the same thing almost everywhere I go smh. I then had to ask for sauces,napkins and fortune cookies. Like nothing was in the bag. She again put everything on the counter again and walked away. Now if I had to self service and pack my own bag thats fine but if thats the case why keep everything behind the counter, unreachable and make me have to ask for everything? I believe she only did that to me. Of course because of my race but its ok. Unfortunately you get use to it. The food was edible nothing flavorful but edible.

Food wasn’t bad and the wait wasn’t long at all but for 40 bucks I was expecting more. Food was hot but it had no flavor. The steamed dumplings had WAY to much dough and the lo mein was basically flavored with imagination. If youre in the mood for Chinese I would definitely recommend just getting some rice. And if you don’t want that then just go down the street and get pizza.

This is our third try at this restaurant. Service and flavour are great but the chicken is always overcooked (tough) and the rice is dry. Would love to see this change!
