New York Pizzeria Aka Slices

Great place, great owners, and even better pizza and wings!!!

Apparently you can only get cheese pizza here I came in for a slice and requested pepperonis and I was rudely told “nope” my boring plain pizza was made well.

Great wings with just the right amount of crisp, not soggy and chewy, and not fried to a crisp just right and medium of delicious, even for the spice wimps like me. Slight kick, but not enough to break a sweat. The pizza is pretty good, too! I ordered two days in a row, and the second day, I asked for it to be left in for an extra 2 3min and it was PERFECT! Crispy bottom that stood straight out, and gooey cheese oozing all over. It was like a taste of home made by friendly, hard working people.

I like to try pizzerias in Central NY as I travel through the area. Decided to try this place. Service was quick and prices were very reasonable. Our pizza was a mixed experience.....wonderful real mozzarella, a tasty tomato sauce, but the crust seemed undercooked...thankfully not too thick, but not as thin and crispy and flavorful as other places in this area. It did hit the spot, however.

Best pizza in town!! Super friendly staff, owners are always there.
