Was User at Kensington Kosher Delicatessen a mag?
This place is unlike anywhere else. It truly showcases the best deli on Long Island. The meat is outstanding, and the hot dogs become addictive for anyone who tries them. View all feedback.

What User dislikes about Kensington Kosher Delicatessen:
I visited the restaurant today to place an order, and I was quite disappointed by what I witnessed. The staff was cleaning the dirty sink while wearing the same gloves they use for serving food, which was really off-putting. Additionally, I saw one employee sniffing his gloves before continuing to handle Knish with those same dirty gloves to serve a customer. It seems that this place does not adhere to proper Departm... 3rd time in a row we got left over fries that were lousy..they need to reconsider serving fries that have been left out for too long..We do know the difference! The matzoh ball soup was unremarkable. I won't even order a Pastrami sandwich anymore as thelast time is was cold and of a lousy cut. I can tell by looking at them they've gotten away with reputation for way toolong.. This place has slowly deteriorated.. Won't see the likes of me and mine their anymore...............

Stopped in for the first time today because I was craving a Pastrami on Rye. My wife and I ordered a Pastrami on Rye, Spinach Kinish, Hot Dog w/Must/Kraut a order of fries. The service was fast and friendly but the food other than the Hot Dog wasterrible. The Pastrami was dry and cold. My wife wasn't sure if her Kinish was even Spinach she thought it tasted odd maybe wasBroccoli. The French Fries we're overdone and most likely reheated.

Nothing like it anywhere around. Hands down the best deli on LI. The meats are outstanding and the hotdogs are an addiction to anyone that tried them

I came in today to place an order. The staff was cleaning the dirty sink with the same gloves they use to serve food. It was really gross and disappointing. The other staff member sneezed into his gloves and than proceeded to pick up Knish with the samedirty glove to serve to customer. This place does not follow proper DOH guidelines. .
