Waterfront At The Abbey Resort

This was hands down the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Food was awful, and somehow the service was worse. I had to ask multiple employees to grab my server just so we could leave pay and leave. PLEASE save your money and go somewhere else. Do not waste your time at this putrid place of business.

We had a family gathering for lunch a couple of days after Christmas not exactly high season for the resort. It suited me, as it was rather quiet. There were 11 of us in the party and we did four separate checks. Things got a little messed up, but nothing major and kind of to be expected with that many checks and people. The service was prompt and professional. The food was hit and miss. The brisket was quite tough for one person, and the wrap for the two of us that had it lacked flavor it needed a little something. No one else commented. As far as ambiance, you'll like it right on the water with high windows looking out.

Coleslaw has no dressing. Just cut cabbage as a side or on a fish taco. Horrible. Told us that’s the way it comes.

Location is great. Cheese curds were excellent. Burgers tasted like school lunch — 1/5. Fish tacos were cold. Staff was great, fast and responsive. Honestly, this place could be great but they seriously need to fix the food beyond the few winners like cheese curds and fries. Fix the entrees and it would be over 4 stars at least.
