What brian tarpey doesn't like about Sapore Italian:
Went there for an early dinner. We ordered calamari which was rubbery. One of the main dishes was a ribeye which was the special) and was asked to be cooked medium rare. I could tell as soon as I was cutting it that is was raw. I sent it back for it to be cooked a little longer. In the meantime, I ate some of my wife's chicken- which was bland and tasteless. The steak came back out and it was still raw. I ended up bo... View all feedback.

Attending college graduation in the area and love the Village of Fishkill. Came across Sapore when searching for a nice place to celebrate our graduate. So glad we decided to go! Services was excellent and food was outstanding! Will definitely be back since we still have a college student in the area.
Considered everything from that restaurant, not much was good. Though the young waiter that had his first working day, did his very best to accommodate us, he was good. About the food: the starter, burrata with ham, was a small dish with some too thick sliced ham of low quality and hardly any burrata. Moreover the “burrata” was no burrata (a bag of mozzarella with cream added) but was at best some slices of mozzarella. My wife order a “daily special”, a flattened double veal chop, that was breaded and fried. It was a kind of a schnitzel that she likes. The meat tasted and smelled funny. I (sun of a butcher) tried it myself. The meat was not good, not fresh, if not spoiled. Told it to the waiter, he went to speak with the chef and came back within one minute telling that the owner told him to take it off the cheque. This made me suspect that the restaurant knew the meat was not good. Unforgivable. I order a rack of lamb and got five lamb chops!!!??? That meat was good and also cooked OK, but it was not what I asked for. Well it is clear that based on our experiences we cannot recommend this restaurant
We've been here once before. Just like the 1st time, excellent food, service atmosphere. The waiters are so knowledgeable about the menu how it's prepared, reciting from memory. Wine was great. It was a little busier this time and my choice of table was taken, however, new seating gave me a different view of my surroundings. This was a birthday dinner. We ordered 2 of the specials, excellent. Dessert was divine. We will go back. I do believe it's our favorite so far!
