Had a wonderful late lunch/early dinner at Cooley's today. My husband and I both started with a bowl of the roasted red pepper and tomato soup which was outstanding! I had a delicious cheeseburger and fries and my husband very much enjoyed his Bavarian pretzel and boneless buffalo wings which are served with delicious, homemade blue cheese. What Mark Johnson doesn't like about Cooley's Stone House Tavern:
Came here because it looked like a cool Northern pub. Ordered drinks (a draught beer and 2 lemondades) and we were about to order food when we were informed they were out of Bavarian pretzels, French Dip, Philly Cheese steak, onion rings and I believe one other item. Needless to say more than half of this was going to be our order so we asked for our bill and another place to go. They charged us $11 for the 1 beer an... View all feedback.

Needless to say more than half of this was going to be our order so we asked for our bill and another place to go. They charged us $11 for the 1 beer and 2 lemondades as if it was standard. On a positive note, they gave us a great recommended to go to Doubleday Cafe on Main St... And it was awesome. Their Philly Cheese Steak was really good and we had great service (see my review for more details there).
We stumbled upon this great bar when looking for something to eat late at night in Cooperstown. We struck out at several places, and someone suggested Cooley's. Their Reuben sandwich is phenomenal. Apparently they make their own corned beef. Also try their wings with the house sauce. Delicious!
Coopers Tavern is the best secret of Annapolis though outside the city limits. The burgers! Amazing tasty, delicious and not light on the ingredients. The delicious food is not the only reason to come here but the staff. The ladies are welcoming and friendly, fast and sharp with the orders and always on the lookout for the refill or to anticipate complimentary options to your meal. Highly recommend for a burgers and fried calamari.
Really enjoyed their wings, cowboy burger and French fries. The way they fry the Wings and French fries were exceptional. Loved their Cooley's and buffalo garlic sauce, great flavors and beers!
