Strat's - Villa Park
Strat's
Description
This long-running, car-community favorite serves standout Italian sausage sandwiches, classic hot dogs, a celebrated Reuben and BBQ steak, plus excellent fries, homemade ice cream and milkshakes (try the Kallifornia Spritz). Friendly staff, owner involvement and weekend car meets create a lively, nostalgic hangout with ample parking and counter/takeout options. Expect casual charm rather than quiet refinement — occasional order mix-ups, noisy music, garbled speaker orders and uneven fountain drinks are reported, but overall it’s a warm, affordable spot for comfort food and socializing.

Great spot! We sampled the Polish Sausage Maxwell Style, Steak Sandwich, Pastrami Sandwich, and Cheeseburgers, and everything was delicious.
I've been here several times over the years for car meets, and it's always a good time. A place that has a love for the car community and supports it like they do is amazing, I just wished I lived closer. The food is great, especially the fries! I love the environment and theme of the place, and there's plenty of parking if you're just going there to eat. Thank you for what you do for the car community
This was my first experience ordering from Strat's, and it happened while I was searching for ice cream shops on Grub Hub. Their ice cream is truly delicious and unique. While it is somewhat expensive, especially considering the portion size, the flavor is outstanding and tastes very homemade! I can't comment on the atmosphere since I ordered through Grub Hub, but from the photos, it reminds me of a place called Teddy's Red Hots (if anyone is familiar with it).
$2.00 hot dogs! They tasted just like Vienna sausages. A coworker and I had a meal for under $20 total, and we both ordered drinks too.
