Friends Company - Villa Park

The Pour House has a comfortable and relaxed high end bar feel. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. They have a large drink menu with lots of beers to choose from but some nice cocktails and wines for non beer drinkers. I had a glass of rose wine and found it very nice. They have a nice sized food menu with plenty to choose from for all taste and dietary preferences. One thing that really stands out about their menu is you can be totally indulgent or very healthy and have plenty of delicious choices either way. For a starter I had the Kung Pao Cauliflower. What a great dish. Juicy, flavorful, full of great texture and just the right amount of spice. It adds to the dish with out over powering it. Very nice indeed. For my meal I had the blackened salmon salad, that comes with blackened salmon, deviled eggs, greens, capers, red onion, feta, cucumbers, and tomatoes in a citrus vinaigrette. A wonderfully filling and delicious salad. Between all the flavors, varying, temperatures and textures it was like a party in my mouth. A truly wonderful lunch. For dessert I tried their peanut butter snickers pie. Which is an oreo cookie crust with peanut butter mousse whipped cream and chocolate and Carmel sauce. Wow. If you love peanut butter you will love this dessert. Creamy, crunchy, decedent all things good. The prices are very reasonable too. I highly recommend it.

Overall good. The beer selection is very good. And the menu has variety of typical bar food selections. The service varies but is average and adequate. I have stopped here several times. A good choice on sport game nights or late evening for late arrival or when in a hurry and hungry.

Peanut Butter Snickers Pie. Yes, please. Thank you. I would have not ordered anything else if I 've known that this dessert was so good. Oh well, but I did. The place was somehow busy on a Saturday night but I was able to make reservations online so we were seated right away. I liked that they offered short sized glass, since I have a hard time finishing regular sized glass of beer. Our server was pleasant, although the overall service was slow. For this visit, I tried: FRIED PICKLES- they were ok AHI TUNA SALAD- there were much more wonton strips than the vegetables BLACKENED SALMON SALAD- it was delicious although next time, I should remember to ask for the dressing on the side since it was a little drenched in vinaigrette. PEANUT BUTTER SNICKERS PIE- I will come back for this. I was able to try about 3 kinds of IPAs and I liked all of them. I liked one their featured beer for that week the best (I forgot what it was). I would come back if I am in the mood for beers and that pie again. The place had a lot of big TV screens which is good for watching any sporting events and the place had a fun vibe. The downsides were that if the mall is super busy, parking can be very challenging and that the women 's bathroom was not kept clean as well. Hopefully they are doing something about the cleanliness of their restrooms regularly. Til next time, my Peanut Butter Snickers Pie!

Outside patio area is nice for happy hour. Food is pretty good. The greatest obstacle is finding parking since its so crowded, but there is a garage about a 5 minute walk away.

Came here for my friends birthday. Our waitress was friendly and stopped by often. Beer cheese soup pretty good. Strong flavor and seasoning. It needs bread crisps served with it. Mac and cheese I split with my friend. It was nice they put it on two plates. Mac was good but the chicken tasted like it came out of the freezer. They gave us a dessert for my friends birthday which was very nice of them. It was a snickers pie I believe. Very tasty! I will definitely order this next time I come!
