Marlene Restaurante Gourmet

The food was more than incredible, the attention of the owner of the place was wonderful.. The restaurant is in its own house, surrounded by a beutiful garden. Very recommended, not miss, it is a unique experience.

This is a restaurant located in Marlene's House, a 2-minute walk from Hotel Howard Johnson right in front of Villa General Belgrano. Marlene is really a cook who has learned her craft in Switzerland. Service is European in style, there is nothing more than chance and you have sorbets between courses to clarify your palate for the next course. Very recommended, reservations a must because it is quite intimate. No credit cards. If you feel like you want a sophistication, go for it. I celebrated my birthday there and loved it every minute.

Steal, beg or borrow, but go to Marlene at least once in your stay. From warm fenced wet towel before you start until the marzipan served at the end you are in f or some serious restaurants. Marlene visits the table with Poise and nothing seems to be awkward. Warm homemade breads will make you in the mood for what it is to come. The restaurant is just a few minutes walk from the Howard Johnson, the few tables are candlelight and the mood Oozes class. Marlene knows how to introduce food, but also how to cook it. Everything is spick and span, you could eat in a posh Swiss restaurant. The menu is written in Spanish, English and German. This is probably one of the best meals we've had for years. Tables are few and service very personal, so the booking is a must. We were so glad to celebrate my upcoming birthday at Marlene. By the way, it'll be her birthday. Let's drink it. We could not believe that we were in the middle of the hills of Cordoba, 700 km from Buenos Aires and on an uncircumcised road. But there's Marlene.

Todo positivo, desde la muy cálida atención de Marlene hasta cada uno de los platos. Pasamos por varios restaurantes de Villa General Belgrano y éste, sin dudas, es muy superior. Gastas más pero vale la pena!

Fuimos muy expectantes y no nos defraudo. Ambiente super agradable, Marlene una genia. Detalles refinados en cada aspecto. Hay 3 menus fijos de 3 y 4 pasos q pueden combinarse. La comida demasiado gourmet para mi gusto, porciones pequeñitas servidas con distinción. Sabores y texturas muy buenos. Si estas dispuesto a invertir en una experiencia de alto nivel es un buen lugar.
