My experience in this restaurant was bad, starting with couvert serving butter with terrible looks, then ordered 2 kids menu with hamburgers which came too toasted, tasting as burnt, had to send it back. My ‘special’ tuna salad with asparagus came with 2 little pieces os asparagus from a can decorating, disgusting ...the staff was not friendly...Feels like they were miserable working there...

We have popped in for a quick lunch as tired of the sun on the beach. From the line of the restaurants this one seemed to be the friendliest one and it certainly paid off. Skipped the starters and had a plate of grilled sardines and a cod fillet. We shared both dishes, both of the cooked very well, presented nicely and with care. Nice portion with no leaving any space for dessert so cant comment on those, but surely the same treat as the mains. There is a nice seating inside especially upstairs from where you have a nice view at the beach. Another place with good and honest food, patient and friendly service, definitely great option to visit if passing through on camino or spending a day on the beach.

We visit Verdes Lirios in Ancora every time we go to Portugal. Across the road from a long white beach, you listen to the Atlantic rollers pounding the shore and watch surfers ride the waves as you tuck into the freshest of seafood, landed by local fishermen at the harbour a few hundred yards away. Lobster rice and kebab of squid and prawns are our favourites. They also serve stunning desserts including chocolate mousse and pudim a more substantial version of creme catalana. Service is efficient and extremely friendly. Highly recommended, both for the food and the views.

We had a delicious salad with crisp lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, hard boiled eggs and tuna. We sat on the outside patio, overlooking the beach, enjoying the breezes. The servers were welcoming and gracious. So glad that we stopped there.
