Contribute FeedbackHow lucky we were to happen upon this little alley restaurant. We think it was the wonderful smells coming from its grill that had us sitting down and finally ordering sardines in Portugal. Fantastic. They were brought out only when ordered and salted and sauced and cooked by the grill master. No pushing of bread and olives yes thy asked, but they didn 't automatically put it on the table. The vegetables were good as well and nicely complimented both the sardines and sea bass. As to the fly issue well, we were outside, so all creatures have a chance to be counted. The staff was proud of the food and service as well they should be. Some surprises are better than others.

The food quality is very good. All the meat and fish are cooked in a grill and the taste and presentation are perfect. We tried the Dourada and Frango wih side salad and potatoes. Perfect dishes. Highly recommended if you go to Sagres. The place is quite small, so you may have to wait a little bit if you go at busy hours.
