Beira Mar - Vila Do Bispo

We only went here for a drink. Food that other guest were eating looked good. There were 6 of us and as we walk in and asked for a table(most of the tables are for 4) it was as if we were causing problems,we offered to move tables ourselves but this was frowned on!! Without being rude I think the young lady in charge had OCD and to move the tables messed her up!!

Lovely meal on our first night in Burgau. The fish was lovely and so was the view. Would recommend for a nice meal.

New owners so still some things to sort out but they are certainly trying hard. Still one of my favorite places to eat in Burgau. Very reasonable, very tasty and great location. I hope it works out for the new owner.

Friendly, flexible and well located. We didn’t book on a busy night but they soon sorted us out. Kids meals massive and great value (swordfish and chips) We had starters as main meals (sardines and garlic prawns). Will deffo go again.

Great view of the sea whilst sitting outside although we moved inside to eat given the cool breeze. Despite the team having moved us, we sat for some time without menus so couldn’t get ready to order! No big deal as we were chatting and drinking but another day, they might have wanted the table. Of the starters, the goats cheese salads were especially good. For mains, the fillet steak and mixed grills were amongst the biggest ever seen and the seafood cataplana was nicely diverse and well received. John’s wine recommendations were good too, although an ice bucket for the white would have been helpful.
