Cantina Las Brasas - Vigo

This restaurant closed a long time ago. Now there is new owner and the place is called beak and shovel. the four-star evaluation is the current location.

Muy buena comida y mejor precio. Pedimos nachos, quesadilla y un taco, y todo buenísimo. La sangría también deliciosa, muy dulce, al igual que la tarta tres leches.

Alright food but the prices were rediculous for the quantity of food provided, and the glasses they gave our drinks in were dirty. Furthermore, the quantity of chips provided relative to the amount of salsa was dissapointing. Finally, who gives bread with salsa?

This place was terrible. The chicken dish I had was smothered in partly burned cheese, and the dish itself was gloopy and overcooked. What a pity, since the staff who work here are full of energy and welcome.

Like mentioned before the restaurant isn't where Tripadvisor indicates. We went there spontaneously and I liked the atmosphere a lot. The service is fast and friendly. The menu maybe a little limited if you are used to other Mexican restaurants in Vigo. It's more the regular Tex mex style. But that's what the restaurant states. The food is very reasonable priced. For sure not the best Mexican restaurant in town, but for a cheap dinner option quite a recommendation. We payed 32€ for guacamole, fajitas, tacos, sangria and a dessert.
