Universo - VIGNALE MONFERRATO

I've been to Ristorante Universo a few times. High quality local food and wine delivered in an excellent relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant is located at the top of the Vignale Monferrato (hill) with magnificent views over the nearby farms and vineyards. Do not be fooled by the inconvenient and low key input. How to prove an old war vest with nothing, this place does not need to shout its quality. There's no menu I've ever seen, and I don't know if a vegetarian is watching. The food service follows a simple advance of the simple portions of traditional seasonal dishes. Maybe about 8 courses. Typically 2 or 3 cold meat courses, 2-3 anti-pastas, a main hot meat dish, desert and then coffee. Since the food changes with the seasons, there is little sense of me to talk about what I had in January because what you will get depends on which season you would go. However, as I said, I've been there a few times and never been disappointed. As a food lover (aka gourmand) I can say that the standard is just as good as many Michael Star restaurants I was!! No kidding. The only difference here is that you wait and get what your given. This could not be the cheapest place in the area, but the buck that you will not be destroyed.

This amazing restaurant is located at the top of a hill in the small village of Vignale Monferrato. There is no menu just a waiter. Once you sit at your table, the food begins to arrive. In all, there were 9 delicious courses. It was an unforgettable experience really good value our bill came to around €36 per person (not including wine).

This is heaven on earth. Can life be better? Highly recomendable!!

In compagnia di amici ho potuto assaporare una fantastica cena del territorio. Ottimi gli agnolottini e la carne cruda dell’ antipasto. Anche il bonet fantastico.Buono il vino.Servizio gentile e moltissima attenzione per le normative anti-covid. Mai vista così tanta attenzione in un ristorante. Complimenti.Consiglio
