We'll, he certainly knows his stuff as La Scala... read more We stayed overnight in Vierzon, enroute to Toulouse. Our Hotel manager recommended La Scala and arranged a taxi. We'll, he certainly knows his stuff as La Scala was a delight. Great atmosphere, buzzing, spotlessly clean with energetic and efficient staff only to happy to help. A wry smile on the waiters face as the first item we ordered were large draught beers .... English. ..... We ordered their large sharing Antipasti which was ample for 2 and delicious, followed by a Pizza (Ragazzo spicy and delicious) and a pasta (looked amazing). Give it a go, you won't be disappointed

After a warm welcome we were shown to a lovely... read more We had an unexpected night at Vierzon after our car broke down and found this lovely restaurant beside the river. After a warm welcome we were shown to a lovely table inside overlooking the river. The menu offers a great selection which was reasonably priced. Service was fast and friendly and the food when it arrived, delicious. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant and if we are ever in the area again will definitely return.

Stopped off at Vierzon for lunch on a hot Sunday on route between Sancerre and Ambois. Wasn’t disappointed to find this popular riverside Italian had a free tab... read more Stopped off at Vierzon for lunch on a hot Sunday on route between Sancerre and Ambois. Wasn’t disappointed to find this popular riverside Italian had a free table. Parked easily nearby. Both my wife and I had excellent salads although there was a varied and interesting menu. Speedy efficient service, recommended.
