Why do they ask for a tip when the customer orders on a kiosk, has to get the food when it's ready, and they have to put everything in trash and stack baskets etc? Just wondering... View all feedback.

My experience at this steak 'n shake is the same as almost any other steak 'n shake, which is to say that overall it 's not as good as it used to be since they switched to ordering on a touch screen and removing staff. Service is so slow, there's a couple hour stretch that they are so understaffed I try to avoid going during that time.Kid-friendliness: Hat coloring
This place and staff went downhill. Food is disgusting. Staff is rude.
Best fast food/burgers you can get. Great shakes and fries. Amazing service.

Since there 's no more wait staff, there 's really no reason to come into the restaurant. You may as well just get drive-thru and skip going inside.
Food was good as usual. No service, order at a kiosk. Get your own food when your name is called. Then take garbage to can. First time I have been since they went without servers. And I won't go back. Not the same, and I don't have to participate.
