Duffy's Esperanza - Vieques

Great casual place for drinks and eating. the personal is super friendly and accommodating. they have great options on the menu that can be veganized like fish tacos (the are huge veggie burger and the best: kanus de platanos de maduros they replace the meat with a veggie burger and it is amazing!

The service at this restaurant was very disappointing. Our server did not speak Spanish and accidentally spilled a drink on my sister, without showing any remorse or offering to replace it. The burger was underwhelming and the juices were overly sweet and artificial. The fries were decent, but the veggie burger was not to our liking. Overall, the meal was mediocre and next time I visit Vieques, I will either bring my own food or make a trip to Finca Victoria for better quality vegan meals that are not overpriced.

I have dined at this restaurant four times during my trip to Vieques. They offer more vegan options than other places and have a very friendly staff. The dishes are simple but fresh, ranging from rice and beans to their vegan kanu. I will definitely be returning next time I visit!

Many restaurants that offer a variety of vegan options tend to open in the evening or only on certain days. However, Duffy's is a great choice for a quick lunch at 12pm. The flavors are decent and the staff is well-informed about veganism.
