This Restaurant is very cozy and quaint with a very warm atmosphere. The food is exceptionally tasty. The service is very good and the prices are very reasonable. The house wine is very tasty and it is served in crystal glasses. It is definitely a must when visiting Vienna. View all feedback.
What isabel p doesn't like about Zum Reznicek:
we have been there for the famous ganslessen (goose) and I must admit I dont like goose really. I found the goose itself to fat (dripping off) and not crunchy cross (the skin) the dumplings were also not what I expected. The red cabbage was nice. I personally think it was overrated. Beautiful guesthouse! gorgeous the old slender area, super warm the woman wetin! and not only the superb and famous Martini-Ganserl is one - no, many - worth visiting!
For a long time no secret tip when there is the martinigansl everywhere in november. at reznicek there is one of the best. but also in the summer the kitchen does not hide. classic dishes of the white kitchen are perfectly prepared. during our visit there were excellent eierschwammerl and mushroom dishes. the wine selection is not too big, but includes good Styrian and Lower Austrian classics to fair trips. especially pleasant in these hot summer days is the gastgarten in front of the house .
This is located in my eyes very hidden. I've always been in this opposite, but I've never been aware of it. a working mate invited me to an appointment in this guest house.Good Austrian cuisine! from schnitzel, gulasch to various innerien! very large portions, but with quality. I will certainly visit this locally in the future more often.
Were a bigger group and we were all of the same opinion. never eat as a good gansl as here!!!Can you recommend it!
For many years we have met in November/December for the Gansl-Schmaus at the reznicek. this year we were sadly somewhat disappointed: while the gansl was still in order (but by far not the best of the city,) the supplements were very weak: redwort much too sweet, white wort much too sour, the sauce much too thin (probably diluted afterwards) and in fact the mmelknödel were too soft and hardly flavored. only the potato dumplings were fluffy and very tasteful! The maronireis was sweetly dressed: beat, maronireis, powdered sugar. for purists probably a highlight because he tasted very good!In sum we will most likely break with our tradition.
