Very traditional and delicious Shanxi (陕西) food! The restaurant is small but the staffs are nice. I like lamb skewer, tofu and my friend like "biang biang" noodles very much! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tofu & Chili:
So, the experience is definitely true and fairly priced, too. My noodles with lamb were good: tasty, also if quite standard in terms of flavor. Also, they came in a huge portion. The tofu with century egg was not up my alley, I tried it without knowing what it was but maybe is excellent if you like that dish. Not equipped to judge. The spicy noodles were also quite good while the gyoza a bit less than forgettable, th... View all feedback.
I saved this place! I was in Vienna for a week and wanted something else, so I found this place online. I was a little worried because I couldn't find an English menu and when I went to the restaurant, there was no English menu in the window! When I went to the staff, greeted me and put me to a table and I got an English menu! I wasn't sure what to have, but there was a guy sitting next to me, was with kung pao chicken with steamed rice, it was phenomenal!!! Best Asian cuisine I ever had if I had more time on my trip I would have gone back!
I can't believe all the good reviews about this place. Our meal was terrible, the worst I had in my whole life. The meat was tasteless and the sauce smelled and tasted like dog food. It was even better than I went to wash my hands... and saw half-cooked meat stored on the floor next to the toilet door (unpacked! . If hygiene and quality of the products mean something for you, avoid this place and buy better a cheese cream in Billa next door.
The food is very good! I had nothing bad about it. Most food, by name, is sharp!
It is amazing! great food, tasty and authentic. The place is a small venue. it is better if you reserve before your visit, otherwise, you'll wait for a table. If you like spicy Chinese food, this is the place in Vienna!
Compared to other reviews we were quite disappointed. We tried chicken and tofu wok dishes with rice. In our opinion the taste was pretty much under average and not well balanced. The restaurant will not charm you by its design or quality of service either....We, however, enjoyed a complementary vegetable soup before the main dish which was both original and tasty.
