Needing a change from the grander restaurants we had been treating ourselves to, we scoured the local neighbourhood for something family run, offering a simpler menu, and easier on the pocket. I've spent a long time working in Germany in the past so the idea of going back to somewhere serving traditional Austrian/German food was very exciting. Now before I start I must say it's a clean polite and fast serving place so maybe my hopes...were to high... Here is the but! For a traditional restraunt Weissbier should not come in a bottle . Danke für den super gelungenen Abend /Abende die letzten 2 Tage. Rindfleischsulz mit Kernöl, Geselchte Chilliwurst mit Senf , Kren , Brot und Rindgulasch , Apfelstrudel zum Abschluss waren top Gerichte die wir genossen haben in einer sehr schönen und urigen Atmosphäre mit ausgewählten leckeren Weinen und Schnäpsen. Der Kümmelbraten nach Geheimrezept mit genialem Krustl ist Weltklasse, die Bauernkrainer ein kulinarischer Botschafter Kärntens und die ganze Atmosphäre ist nirgendwo anders zu toppen. Einfach urig schön, wo sonst als in der Karmelitergasse :
Einfach nur super! Das Essen ist großartig, Hausmannskost, top. Gutes Bier, großartige Schnapsauswahl, sehr, sehr nettes Personal! Eigentlich das perfekte Lokal.
Deftiges Essen, tolle Weine, freundlicher Service, gute Preise, gemütlich, ein Beisl eben. Aber ein sehr schönes.
Der beste Stadtheurige in Wien. Super Essen und ein noch besseres Taem. Und das alles leistbar. Mein neues Stammlokal.
